Program Overview
The RESTORE Program is a structured therapeutic intervention designed for adolescents who have engaged in problematic sexual behaviors. The program focuses on helping youth develop accountability, empathy, emotional regulation, and healthy relationship skills while reducing risk for future problematic behaviors.
The RESTORE Principles
R – Responsibility for Behavior
Youth develop accountability for their actions and learn to take ownership of harmful behaviors.
E – Empathy Development
Building victim empathy and understanding the impact of their behaviors on others.
S – Safety Planning and Boundaries
Establishing clear safety plans and developing healthy boundaries in relationships.
T – Trust Rebuilding
Developing skills and consistency to restore trust with family and community.
O – Ownership of Choices
Learning to make healthy decisions and take responsibility for personal choices.
R – Respect for Self and Others
Developing self-respect and genuine respect for the boundaries and dignity of others.
E – Education and Skill Building
Structured psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring, impulse control training, and relapse prevention planning.
